Cash Asap Loans | www.cashasap.co.uk Reviews
Cash Asap has been in business since the year 2012. The owner (Apfin Ltd) lends through this single company, but they have recently created a new brokerage project (styled CLEARandFAIR). We checked this out and it was still under development. Asap’s growth has been steady over the years. They have flew under the radar that is a shame as their flexible short term loans are well packaged, serving as an ideal Wonga alternative. Flexibility is a key feature delivered in the amounts and terms. Their service is available across weekends and they have an interesting promotion called #PriceCheck that hands incentive to those that at least see if they can get approved for a loan.

Market choice is limited for flexible short term loans. You can find these here with any repayment choice being available between 1 and 35 days where any amount can be selected to the exact pound. A downgrade was unfortunately forced upon the threshold. They did at one time offer very small £20 loans. This was later raised to £50 and then more recently £100. The pricing sits just above average where they charge just a little below the industry cap. Payouts are available 7/7 and then there is #PriceCheck. Here, if they decline you, but you get funded from another lender on the same day then they’ll pay out the loan cost. There are various terms. This must be another short term contract that is the same price or cheaper. You must reply to the rejection letter and prove that it was later repaid.
Seeing £20 raised to £100 was a shame to see since we like the idea of borrowing say just £30 over the weekend. Other than this the overall product specs measure up very well especially on flexibility. This company hasn’t been promoting themselves much as time has passed. This doesn’t help their cause as you don’t get to see how well they are dealing with high volume and how their service as a whole is being perceived. They do have several hundred reviews on Trustpilot, but they are active on there (replying to reviews) and so you’d expect to see some activity. Their score for reference is 87% that hopefully will surpass 90% soon.
Similar Lenders Like Cash Asap…
As was touched on above, they do look to have modelled themselves on Wonga. Advantages here are lower costs and the #PriceCheck feature. The market leader however now offers a 6 month repayment, they also have very sophisticated tech on approvals and start lower from £50 onwards. Line of credit lenders like Drafty and SafetyNet are excellent choices for any term choices and funding with that type of facility can be initiated 24/7. If you were to test out this lender with Price Check in mind, then we’d advise applying for a full monthly loan. Someone like Fernovo or Sunshine Credit would each be cheaper options (to qualify) and they aren’t overly strict.
